Rye porridge

Estimated cooking time 45-60 minutes.

I used to hate rye porridge when I was young but now I love it. It is a really simple dish but takes some time to cook. I especially like it with lingonberries on top.

All you need is:

- 6 cups of water
- 2 cups of rye flour
- salt
- butter

1. Boil the water
2. Wisp the rye flour in to the water
3. Add piece of butter. You can add more later if you like!
4. Let the porridge simmer up to one hour. Remember to stir occasionally. You can also make the porridge in the double boiler to avoid burning.
5. Put some extra salt if needed.
6. Eat with lingonberries (or other berries)
